We are proud to announce the winners of the XIX edition of the architectural competition "One-year scholarship in memory of arch. Dimitar Bogdanov"! Every year arch. Borislav Bogdanov with the support of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy in Sofia organizes a competition for student projects in memory of arch. Dimitar Bogdanov.The established scholarship is in memory of arch. Dimitar Bogdanov, who unfortunately is no longer with us, but his work will be remembered both by the elder architects of his time and by his young followers. Arch. Dimitar Bogdanov was a talented architect with over 300 completed projects outside the Republic of Bulgaria. His work is impressive, both in volume and in content and aesthetic values, which lays the foundations of a school in Bulgarian architecture. Many sites designed and implemented by him in more than 12 countries glorify both his name and our country. The popularization of his work enriches our national culture.
The competition is held with the support of the Union of Bulgarian Architects, the Chamber of the Architects in Bulgaria and the companies "DORMAKABA", "HENKEL - Bulgaria" and "SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC" who award special prizes. Thank you to all participants and congratulations to the winners!
