The Five Elements Hotel
Located at the foot of Rila Mountain, the hotel is the first of its kind in the region. The service areas surpass those of the accommodation rooms in terms of capacity, enabling a wide range of different services and activities to be offered.
The entrance of the complex is highlighted by a characteristic canopy. Immediately after, the visitor enters an impressive foyer cut through two levels and ending with a hotel reception. This space extends to the ground and first floors where guests can enjoy amenities such as a pool table, live music, board games, a cozy fireplace, a children's play area, a lobby bar and a shop.
An internal staircase connects these lively areas to the restaurant, which spans two levels and accommodates 140 guests. The restaurant's appeal lies in its double-height interior and adaptable space. The outdoor terraces offer breathtaking views of the surrounding pools, the valley and the majestic Verila and Rila mountains.
The first underground floor, bathed in natural light, serves as a conference centre, spa, gym and beauty salon. The conference room, the largest in the region, can accommodate 120 delegates with options to divide into smaller spaces for yoga, dance classes or movie nights.
The extensive split-level spa, the largest in the region, comprises a reception, treatment rooms and pools spread over 1,000 square metres. The outdoor terrace overlooks the valley and the outdoor mineral pools, part of the Kotvata Aqua Club, which has a direct connection from the hotel spa.
The second underground level provides ample storage, an indoor garage, kitchen, energy center and ski and bike storage. The complex consists of 83 rooms and suites spread over four floors and offering spectacular views of the Rila Mountains and valley.
Innovative energy saving measures include the use of waste water heat for heating, triple glazed windows and water efficient appliances. The hotel also uses solar panels for electricity and extracts local groundwater for domestic use and irrigation. This combination of luxury, convenience and sustainability sets this hotel complex apart as a premier destination.
